An innovative Thermoplastic Casting bandage presentation
for use in forming orthotic shapes & devices and for
orthopaedic casting & splinting.

Consists of a flexible polyester fabric combined with thermoplastic polyester material. Contains no isocyanate polyurethane resin or fibreglass. There is no smell or release of toxic or sensitising substances at any stage of use or disposal.

ANI-CAST is quick and simple to prepare and use. Can be unrolled dry and initially cut to the required length, or the entire roll may be activated.

Additional Features:

• Can easily be removed and cut with bandage scissors even up to 4 layers thick, without dust formation.
• No sharp edges,even after cutting. High degree of comfort and safety on an application.
• Hardened set bandage may be corrected, re-modeled and repaired by subsequent re-heating with hot air gun or hair dryer. Caution: carefully protect under laying body parts.

• An Ani-Cast splint may be cut to ease open for inspection, then re-fixed by applying pre-cut strips or using a 2.5cm width bandage, activated and prepared as initially.
• All Ani-Cast material is extremely stable exposed to air at room temperature. Used pieces may be cut to shape re-used and remodeled by immersion in hot water or using hot air source.
